Introducing Free Group Classes: A Community Initiative

I love my job, and I really love helping people. I love watching their bodies go from pain and limited mobility, to happy free structures that bring joy. I love seeing the relief in my clients faces when they are finally moving again and don't have to think about how they do simple daily tasks. I have such a passion for progress and get so excited when I see it.

I am also deeply passionate about Jesus, the Bible and all things Hebrew and Greek - I love looking into the ancient culture and how they lived and how the early church loved one another. I love studying out the Word for myself and finding the precious nuggets of evidence for my faith.

But in recent news, I witnessed the very public assassination of Charlie Kirk. While the videos where still available, I actually watched a close up video of his brutal murder, and it was devastating.

I used to watch a lot of Charlie Kirk's debates (as I LOVE a good debate) and as a fellow believer, I had immense respect for his tact and his loving response. He was, by no means perfect, but he was out there, sharing the Gospel. I admire this boldness in anyone who is willing to put themselves on the line to share the gospel.

His death left me shaken and frustrated with myself. Shaken, because the Bible predicts days coming that the world would persecute Christians and even put them to death, and frustrated that I had nothing to show for myself. That if I were to die tomorrow, God forbid, I would have no one to greet me in heaven saying, ''Thank you for your boldness in sharing the Gospel.''

I want to be bold. I want to be unashamed to share my faith. I want to be courageous.

Whether you agree or disagree with Charlie Kirk, I think we can all agree, he was courageous for his faith, and his death has lit a flame in me. It showed me that this life is fleeting, and time is short. Today is the day of Salvation.

So this brought me to my business. As I mentioned above, I love my work. It truly is a privilege. But from this day forward, I want my life to represent Christ first and my business needs to fit around the identity I have found in Jesus, my Saviour.

I have no desire to beat my clients around the head, Bible bashing them all day, but I do hope that my new found direction will spark some questions and deeper conversations. I also have opened an additional half hour of prayer for anyone who needs it. One thing I have noticed is how lost people are feeling and how physically sick people are getting so if this initiative can bring healing, hope and comfort to anyone during these times, let me start with this.

There is a beautiful Hebrew word called Hineni (הִנְנִי) means "Here I am," but it conveys a deeper sense of total availability, readiness, and profound willingness to serve or respond, rather than simply stating one's physical location.

This is my hearts cry to my Lord - I am here, I am totally available, I am ready for You, I am so willing to serve You Lord, and I am here, responding to Your call on my life.

To start that off, I thought I will simply offer free group Pilates classes, because maybe this will bless someone. Maybe it will bring someone in who needs prayer, maybe it will cause my clients to know that God loves them and wants to bless them. I know this is such a small, measly gesture and I pray that as I grow in the Lord, He will entrust me with more and by the power of the Holy Spirit, He will lead me, in good time, to seek His perfect will for my life, but while I have this humble business in my hands, I want to offer it back to the Lord that He may use it for His will and purpose.

I will do my best to give you all the best classes I can give you every week and may you rest in the knowledge that you will be held in prayer before and after class.

Regarding the donation side of it all, there is no pressure at all to donate. Only if your heart is led to give, then you are free to do so. I have listed a few initiatives that are close to my heart which you are welcome to partner with me on but if I never receive another pence for my group classes, I will honestly not be bothered.

My heart is to bless you, and to pray for you, and God willing, if you give me your ear, I would love to tell you about the saving power of Jesus and what He has done in my life. If you just want to walk in, get a free class and walk away, that is there for you too.

In the mean time, thank you for listening to my reasoning on why am I confident in my new business plan and may we all continue to grow from strength to strength in the Lord and may we all know the love God has for us, His incredible plan for our lives and may we know how desperately we need Him to cleanse us from all sin so we can be reunited with the very God Who placed eternity in our hearts.

All my love to you dear ones, and I will see you in class xx
